For the CNSP exam: You will be need to have a fundamental understanding of both neuroscience and exercise science. This certification will cover the neurophysiology of skeletal muscle development and movement as well as the effects of imagery and cognitive training on sports performance. It will also review the neurobiological processes involved in athletic performance.
This certificate is open to anyone who has an interest in the field of sports neuroscience.
You must be a member of NeuroSports to take the exam.
CEUs - in order to keep your CNSP valid, you must do the following:
1) maintain an active membership
2) attend the NeuroSports national conference at least every other year. If you can't attend the conference, you will be required to take a CEU exam once per year.
